It's hard to say no to dessert, no matter how full you are. Especially a dessert as irresistible and quintessentially Thai as Thab Thim Krob.

A little too heavy on the sugar and coconut cream, the combination of water chestnut cubes coated in corn flour, strips of jackfruit and subtly rose-scented coconut milk nevertheless go well together. A little too cloyingly sweet, just like the princess the restaurant is named after. But still an essential part of a good Thai meal.
