I could say this is almost perfect! It reminds me of the taste of bak kut teh's origin, Klang! Some people prefers soy sauce based soup with slight herbal aroma, while I would only go for Klang's authentic bak kut teh with thick gravvy and strong herbal aroma. No bak kut teh in KL beats that, but I'm grateful to have found this! And best of all, the taste of Klang's BKT is replicable in meatless version! Even my mom who is born, stayed, and grew up in Klang have to thumb up for this. You'll be surprised to realize that BKT can be super awesome with all variety of mushrooms and tofu puff!

Finally manage to try this famous bak kut teh. The last time I went there specifically for bak kut teh but they don't have it that day. So today I am happy to see it's available. They use many diffrnt mushrooms inside an it's so sweet. Goes well with the brown rice.
