Lotus roots from lotus flowers (a.k.a. water lily) develop under water within the mud. They have got sausage-like sections within tuber form which have air canals through them. Lotus roots usually are ingested by a lot of cultures through the entire Asian region, as medication, tea, salad, soup, stir fried, deep-fried and also juicing!
