Just discovered this great dining place! Very reasonable prices and nice food. Tried this Tiffin Set with platter of tasty dishes, only RM8+ with KindMeal discount!
Love the "fish" curry so much I requested an extra bowl. Other side dishes include tofu, sticky rice, spicy fish, orangey dessert and many items that I don't know the names haha.
Great blend of savory, sweet, spicy and creamy flavors! Only available for dinner though, lunch version is the Thali set.
Fragrant mutton bryani claypot. A very generous portion, with big chunks of "mutton" buried underneath. Comes with a side dish of cucumber yogurt and papadam.
The Sukku Malli coffee is pretty unique, different from the conventional Bru coffee -- added with dried ginger and coriander seeds.
Ordered some ala carte vegetable dishes too... Mixed stir fried vegetables, aloo gobi (cauliflower & potatoes), and bean sprouts with salted fish.
The "salted fish" is unfortunately not salted fish though, just normal fried soy fish. Other restaurants usually use a salted version, which tastes more authentic.
Pleasantly surprised that there is a good variety of Chinese dishes there, including Yong Tau Foo and Hainanese chicken rice!
