Two words I never thought it’d experience together: Durian Smoothie. This glass of heaven at Basil Garden Restaurant in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, features local durian, banana and soymilk.
It’s normally served with milk, and the restaurant didn’t have non-dairy options, but I was so desperate that I went to the grocery store a few doors down and got my own soymilk for them to use. It was so darn worth it.
