Making your own chocolates at home is a truly liberating feeling. A bar of good dark chocolate at the supermarket don’t come cheap, not to mention the earth-unfriendly packaging!
I usually make a large volume at home and at a crazy fraction of the price. So simple to make, and I can create a little ‘gourmet’ flavour by adding things like Himalayan salt, liquorice powder and/or cacao nibs... and in this case, home-roasted almonds. Keeps in the fridge or freezer for ages. Sometimes I pop a few into a mug of hot water for instant hot chocolate!
