The restaurant that cheekily gets away with bearing the same name as a bank, Hot & Spicy Bangsar Cuisine - HSBC for short! - has developed a loyal following for almost 20 years.
Nothing more Malaysian than seeing a place run by an Indian family and offering a Chinese-inspired menu. A lot of their items come with vegetarian options, and you can choose to have no egg / milk and no mock meat.
This time I figured, why not have a little mock! Always a challenge to pick something new here every time because the selections from previous visits have been great and it’s all too easy to play safe!
Glad I took a chance on these fried noodles with Tom Yam gravy. More like Tom Yammay.
