I get the impression that many Kuala Lumpurians like the idea of going vegan but are scared that it is very hard finding food.
Let me tell you: it’s much easier now than it used to be! Five years ago was a bit of struggle; today options are widely available as more F&B establishments meet the growing demand by hungry herbivores and people who just want to eat healthier.
A mamak where I ate an impromptu lunch in Taman Tun had a stupendous spread of vegetables, stir-fried and cooked in a variety of sauces. Once one starts looking for the options, a lot of the time they are already there... right under your nose. ☺️
