Eating cheap as a vegan in Copenhagen is not as hard as it used to be compared to my first visit here 5 years ago!
We bought this margherita pizza in a supermarket that has a new amazing in-house plant-based brand called SPIR (meaning ‘sprout’ in Danish). It set us back by only 30 kroner (RM15) and we just added onions and broccoli.
From the generous amounts of gooey geese to the crunchy, chewy crust, this pizza almost had a restaurant quality. It’s wonderful to see the plant-based movement improving in accessibility and taste the world over.
