After six whirlwind weeks, the Aidilfitri Dessert Collection bids us farewell. What was expected to be a small Stay-At-Home experiment exploded into a full-scale project, working at maximum capacity, rolling out orders and deliveries as a two-person team. Some people were concerned that I was charging a little too low for such premium products. But to me that was the whole idea. As an advocate of plant-based living, I believe that eating healthier doesn’t need to and shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg. My collection has reached out to Malaysians of all walks of life and if it turned out to be anyone’s first positive experience with plant-based food, to me that’s a massive win. To each and every person who made an order (or two!), shared it with their loved ones, did a shoutout on social media, took part in my giveaway, offered constructive feedback, believed that I could do this, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. This experience has motivated me to consider other food ventures in the future, so stay tuned for more!
