1, 2 or 3?
Leveling up my hydration game with infused water! I had so much fun combining all-local ingredients to to create flavours that were subtle yet complex. It’s almost as if the water takes on a full personality. If you’re not used to drinking plain water, this is a great way to make it more inviting, whilst offering a nutrient boost and helping to curb your appetite in between meals. Infused water will keep in the fridge for a day. Refill as often as you need. Compost scraps. (I still eat the fruit for fiber when I’m done!)
1. Starfruit, Indian Borage from my balcony and Kaffir Lime Leaves
2. Cameron-grown Orange, Pineapple, Ginger
3. Cameron-grown Strawberries, Frangipani Flowers (foraged from the street in my old neighborhood, then washed thoroughly). I haven’t gotten round to eating the actual flowers, but I do boil them into a beautiful fragrant tea.
Feel free to play around with different fruits and veggies, herbs and spices to find a combination that you love.
