When Pulut Hitam (Black Glutinous Rice) gets an IG update š
On its own, I find a bowl of pulut hitam with a dollop of coconut cream to be incredibly satisfying. But due to its deep mahogany hue, it can easily be dressed up in bright colours to serve children, guests, or even to invite a bit of joy into your life!
For breakfast, I mixed @nudiesuperfoods Blue Spirulina into the coconut cream on top of the pulut, which reminded me of what waterways look like when looking down from a plane. Then added mango for a Thai twist, red banana (Pisang Raja Udang) and Cameron strawberries. Iām already a slow eater with regular-looking food, so you can imagine how long I took with this!
