I presented a cooking demo of Cashew Alfredo with Asian Mushrooms to the staff of Bank Islam for their Sustainability Week, representing the Plant-Based Campaign Unit of @spca_selangor.
The more I do my advocacy work, the more I realize that even the simplest of recipes like this one in my little plant-based bubble, can still be new and exciting to communities who are not well-exposed to the vegan lifestyle.
To have the skills to keep a live audience engaged is another thing! I’m glad that my love for food, stage confidence from thespian work, and my desire to make Malaysia a healthier place, all come together in my role of bringing awareness of how we can improve our overall quality of life, without compromising on the fun!
