One thing that has saved me is meal prep. Yes it takes time, but it’s not rocket science. Just an accessible recipe and 2-3 hours blocked out on the weekend to sort out 3-5 nutritionally balanced meals for the week ahead. I typically prepare ingredients for poke bowls and salads, and my favourite is one-pot stews because they require less cleanup, and when it comes to meal time it’s just chucking some stew into a pot and heating it up for 5 minutes.

Some people say, “But I don’t have time!” To that I say, everyone has time! But we all allocate it to things which we consider important enough in our lives. To me, knowing what goes into my body is important enough. And once that value becomes important enough for someone else, the time will be found, if not made.
