🥬Vegan Food Adventures - Er Lou Cafe 二楼茶室 🥬
They serve Sarawak Food here!
This place serves meat but they do have vegan and vegetarian options.
Vegetarian options are marked.
For vegan options, I wrote to them on Facebook and here’s what they said:
“1.olive vege and mushroom noodles
2.fried mee hoon with malicai without the eggs(have to tell the staff to go without the eggs)
For the noodles option, you can go for mee hoon, kuey teow or lou shu fen as our homemade noodles contain eggs.”
We had:
✅A23 Kuey Teow wt Olive n Mushrooms Large RM11.90
✅A25 Lou Shu Fen wt Olive n Mushrooms Large RM11.90
✅F03 ER LOU FRIED MEE HOON MALICAI (Small, No egg) RM12.90
Ad-hoc Discount RM5.50
Service Charge (10.0%) RM3.12
TOTAL RM34.30
The dishes were tasty and I enjoyed them. (although it was a bit oily for me)
The portions feel a bit small though so if you’re a big eater, remember to order more - you can try out the different noodles.
Parking was not so easy to find on a weekday afternoon as a lot of people have their lunch at all the eateries there on that road… I went 2 rounds to hunt for parking.
They did tell me “The parking should be OK if you go earlier b4 12pm. There are some proper parkings at the back alley too.”
I couldn’t go before 12pm as I had a TV shoot. So I was there just before 1pm.
Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous.
It was a bit noisy for me though as there are no curtains or carpets to absorb the sound.
