Kurma, one of my favorite home-cooked dishes. A Malay recipe mastered by my grandmother and passed on to my mum, who adapted it into a vegetarian version. Lots and lots of big, soft, juicy onions, accompanied by bean curd and potatoes.
The thick gravy with aromatic spices is perfect for roti canai, bread and rice. And cili padi nicely spices it up!
