Creamy potato soup, accompanied by a crispy slice of sugar-crusted garlic bread. The soup was a bit bland and needed some generous sprinkles of salt and pepper.

And I wonder why Western restaurants like to sprinkle garnishing around the plate. It's not like I am going to lick the plate clean. Better to sprinkle into the food, better taste and less wastage.
