A unique, delicious and memorable meal at Hijau.

The Nasi Ulam comes with spicy battered tempeh and fried tofu, topped with grated coconut. First time I tasted Laksam, a creamy white "chee cheong fun" sprinkled with fragrant ginger flower, coriander and other toppings.

Paired with 2 bottles of thirst-quenching raspberry Kombucha and syrup mocktail.

Many interesting dishes that I'd like to try next round!

We decided to take his mum out for her birthday to Hijau at DC Mall. They’ve had food from Hijau many times but it’s always via online delivery. So this was a good time to bring them to the actual restaurant.

Our Famous Coconut Rice served with Vegan Sambal Nasi Lemak, Roasted Chickpeas, Vege Mushroom Bilis, sliced Japanese Cucumber, Blanched long beans, Air fried Tofu, Only Egg (Vegan Egg) and Mushroom Crackers.
🤔Don’t think there was the egg though… it came with battered tempeh instead
