Happy Mother's Day to every mother out there ! It's Mother's Day and uncles birthday today so we had a double celebration. Made a birthday cake for my uncle. Nothing fancy since I just got an oven. I am making a simple butter cake. My first attempt. I was following a recipe but I skip some instructions unintentionally coz I was scrolling on my phone n jumped to part 2 so I kinda screw up the steps. I started step 5,6,7,8,2, then 1,3,4 and 9, 10. Lol. I tot my cake will fail miserably but actually it turned out well. Everybody is loving it and my dad even said I can sell it in a cake shop. My dad hardly praises my cooking/baking much coz he always doesn't like it or hate them as our taste buds are very diffrent. So I am happy today.
