Fried Lotus with Thai chilli sauce
When you have a lotus root sitting in the fridge waiting for you to cook it and you realise you need to make it nice for the kids to eat, you just have to fry it.
Sliced the lotus root into thin slices and coat with plain flour mixture.
■ Mix 1 table spoon of salt to 3 cups of plain flour.
Deep fry at medium heat till golden brown and serve. Easy easy..
