Well, I didn't join the crazy queue, someone dapao for me hehe 😁 So I get the chance to eat the chilled in fridge version. I think it tasted like eating cream cheese tart, quite different from eating it fresh from the oven.
Actually I can't compare, Erika. As I had Hokkaido awhile back in Aug, and Pablo I had it chilled overnight in fridge, unlike Hokkaido fresh from oven. It'll only be fair if I had both at the same time under the same condition. But from our photos, Pablo's cheese looks more liquid when eating it fresh from oven. 😊
New update: I just had Hokkaido cheese tart chilled in fridge, i.e. not fresh from oven, and it actually tastes quite similar to its fresh from oven tart, just that it's not hot and the crust not as crunchy. The cheese inside is still soft, but not as soft as fresh from oven.
Unlike the Pablo cheese tart, when it's chilled, it tastes like cream cheese, which actually they don't use cream cheese according to the shop.
I think both brands using different cheese, hence the difference. I guess you really have to try it for yourself to see which is your favourite.
Thanks for the very detailed update! In my case, I'll gobble it up before I finish making the payment at the counter hahaha, won't have chance for it to reach the fridge
