This is Carica, not Papaya. Though it's fruit and plant looks very similar to Papaya. We came across this fruit during our trip to Dieng Plateau, Indonesia. The fruit has latex kinda liquid when cut fresh, so the locals make it into sweeten fruits like in pic 2. It tastes sweet, but not overly sweet, with a hint of original fruit taste. Quite unique in a way. It's quite hard to describe, you just have to try it yourself haha 😁
