Silky smooth udon topped with Japanese bean curd skin in a slightly sweet soup. Its dainty companions are two slices of sushi, a bowl of salad and some fruits.

The kitsune udon is light and sweet, not too heavy for my taste. Goes well with the complementary salad with sesame sauce and fruits, not forgetting the two pieces tamago(egg) sushis. Served with a cup of hot green tea too!

When this set meal arrived at my table (within 3-5 minutes! Service has so far been pretty exceptional!), my first thought was: "Wow, it looks just like in the promotional picture! " My second thought was that it tasted every bit as good as it looks. A subtle, scrumptious and wholesome combination of flavours, textures and temperatures, this meal was quite the treat!
