Warm tortilla wrap apple 'pies' are perfect for the rainy season. This is the easiest apple 'pie' ever and even a child can make these with minimal assistance. Slice and cook 2-4 apples for a few minutes with a mixture of sugar (i used organic brown cane sugar), a pinch of nutmeg, a pinch of salt, a pinch of gingerbread allspice, a good shake of cinnamon powder (around half a teaspoon) and 2 tablespoons of flour (which will act as glue). Next, spread some margarine or other vegan butter substitute and sprinkle sugar on one side of a plain unflavoured tortilla wrap. Don't use garlic or curry or chive flavoured tortilla wrap. You'll regret it. A quick and painless death would be more humane. Don't use any flavoured wraps with a sweet filling, okay? Trust me on this. Next, spoon the apple pie filling into the wrap on the buttered, sugared side and roll up your wrap. Toast/grill/microwave the 'apple pies' until the wrap is slightly brown and crispy and the kitchen smells of apple pie. That's when you know it's done. Taa-daa! No need to mess with pastry dough and some such foolery.
