Vegan dessert at the ICLIF Foundation 'A Night With Jane Goodall' dinner. Many thanks to the organisers for taking steps to ensure that there were vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available. Unfortunately, I can't remember what the cake tasted of and what was in the custard. I vaguely remember that everything tasted quite nice and I really couldn't let it go to waste so I began eating only after Dr Jane left the room and my food was cold and rock hard. I seriously don't remember eating anything because I was so excited about seeing Dr Jane again. If it weren't for these photographs, I wouldn't have recalled eating anything but my fingernails in my nervousness.
