Makan-makan with Gan 🍽 at The Hungry Tapir 💓

Here are the food we order:
- I love tempeh bowl
- Drunken masak lemak fettuccine
- Rainbow ulam fried rice
- Nangka buckwheat pancakes
- Pink bombshell burger
- Baked matcha cheese cake (made by @holyshitaeke !)

Food 🥘 First of all, the portion is good. Secondly, they have a very creative menu. Some are very interesting and new to me like how their side salad is ulam raja instead of lettuce, the pinkish fluffy burger bun, the refreshing fusion of Chinese flavour in the fettuccine, the meaty satay and more.

My favourite item that we ordered would be the fettuccine (Asian flavour is the best!). Other than that, I also like the fluffy burger bun and the pink colour was fascinating. I only wish the patty has more texture then it would be a great burger 🍔 The baked sweet potato fries were crispy but a bit dry to my preference.

The cheesecake 🍰 !!! I was so excited to try it. I like that the matcha flavour is strong enough and the “cheese” filling was creamy and rich. However the soy flavour is quite strong (I like it!) so keep that in mind if you’d like to try it.

Environment 🌴 I love the chill and relaxing ambience. The music, lighting, friendly staffs, nice interior and the overall vibe are great 👍🏻 Watch my latest YouTube video to take a glimpse of their place 😉

Price 💴 The price ranges from RM10 (snacks) to RM30+ (main dish). I guess that’s because of the premium ingredients they used.

They are also famous for their Instagram-worthy interior design but it was raining and dark when I was there 😔 Maybe next time!
