Simple meal is often the best ๐
One meal I love to make using leftover rice is porridge. Just add lots of water and some diced vegetables (I added edamame, frozen corn, diced carrot and pumpkin) to cook the leftover rice until it's thick and mushy๐๐ฅฃ
Now you wonder, why is my porridge looks grainy here? Because I am impatient. Don't be like me, make sure you cook it longer and stir occasionally until it's thick. Add more water if needed ๐๐งก๐ฒ
Season with some salt, soy sauce and white pepper to serve. I used @mu.soysauce here, mmmm~ so tasty. I really like their soy sauce, so flavourful, rich and high quality. If you're a Chinese you know GOOD soy sauce is crucial in the kitchen ๐
Also paired my porridge with some crispy fried enoki. Soak them in the porridge broth and eat, oh boy, so yummy! ๐คฉ
