[RECIPE] Chee Cheong Fun 😻🥢
🔪Makes 10 rolls Ingredients: [Rice rolls] - 110g glutinous rice flour - 20g wheat starch* - 10g corn starch - 400g water - 2 tsp vegetable oil - A generous pinch of salt
[Sweet sauce] - 2 tbsp soy bean paste/taucu - 2 tbsp organic cane sugar - 1 tbsp flour - 1 1/2 cup water - 1 tbsp hoisin sauce

💡Useful tips: ✅Wheat starch is what gives your chee cheong fun a almost translucent look. I prefer to add it nicer appearance ;) ✅Stainless steel plate is recommended. I have tried ceramic and baking tray lined with parchment paper, but stainless steel plate works the best so far. Just make sure to oil the plate before use. ✅Do not roll the cheong fun right away in the plate. That way you will end up with rough-looking cheong fun. Always peel it off from the plate and flip it over like the video demo.
