Looking for a treat recipe that you can make for your family? How about these yummy and buttery vegan pineapple tart?🍍
Ingredients:
Pineapple jam filling
- 1 big pineapple, peeled, cut, and blended
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 70g organic cane sugar
- 20g rice malt syrup
- Zest of 1 lemon
Crust
- 230g vegan butter (I used Nuttelex)
- 330g all-purpose flour
- 25g icing sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
"Egg" wash
- 1 tbsp rice malt syrup/ liquid sweetener of choice
- 1 tbsp of water (to thin it out)
Baking time:
Bake in a preheated oven at 180c for 15 minutes. If the crust is pale, move them to the top oven rack and bake at 220c (not preheated) for 3 minutes or so to brown the crust.
