Sesame Romaine Salad by #RawChefYin. Another recipe that’s been inspired by Ani Phyo.
Had this as part of my lunch today. Here’s what I did:
INGREDIENTS:
Dressing: 1 ½ teaspoons organic sesame oil 1 teaspoon organic soy sauce 1 teaspoon Masarang Arenga Forest Sugar Syrup by @straitswholefoods 1 bird’s eye chili
Salad: 3 small heads of romaine lettuce, sliced thinly 1 small Indian onion, sliced thinly
Garnish: Sprinkling of Korean chilli flakes Sprinkling of black sesame seeds from Love Nuts
METHOD: Whisk ingredients for dressing until mixed thoroughly
Add dressing on to salad ingredients and toss. Set aside for 10 minutes to let the lettuce soften and absorb all the lovely flavours.
Garnish with chili flakes and black sesame seeds.
For this picture, I used a ring mould to make it stand. Was afraid it would fall but it actually stuck together very well. YAYYYYY!
