Blue Spirulina Cheese (raw vegan).
My PLANTLAB book by @matthewkenneycuisine has finally arrived. This was the first thing I made from it.
Made some minor tweaks as I didn't have all the ingredients. My @organiculesuperfoods came in handy as the recipe calls for spirulina and hemp seeds. I also added in just a tiny bit of Masarang Arenga Forest Sugar syrup from @straitswholefoods as I didn't have the sweetness from the black garlic.
I did some reading up about blue cheese as well just to understand the origins of it. I've eaten blue cheese as a teenager and I didn't quite get it although I kept eating it whenever I had a chance to do so to try to figure out why people like it. I'm enjoying this version when it's teamed with crackers and pomegranate. Mmmmmm!
