Raw Chef Yin visits Good Meals in Bangsar South (again!) I really like this place because everything is vegan and they take great care to make the dishes as healthy as they can. This time I was there with Lee. Really enjoyed catching up with him over good vegan food.
Oh, the menu has changed a bit since the last time we were here, looks like they're always improving.
We had: 1️⃣Tom Yam Soup RM17 +RM4 for brown rice vermicelli or rice This appetising soup is made from fine blend of fresh spices and herbs. Served with tofu, mushrooms, aubergine, pineapple, cherry tomato and carrot. 2️⃣Tom Yam Fried Vermicelli RM17 Stir-fried organic vermicelli with cabbage, green leafy vegetables, carrots, shiitake mushroooms in homemade tom yam paste. my favourite dish
3️⃣Pan-fried Chinese Cabbage Dumplings RM10/4pcs Wheat skin dumplings wrapped with Chinese cabbage marinated in ginger juice. Served with balsamic vinegar and ginger slices
4️⃣Boiled Vegetable Dumplings RM10/4pcs A wholesome filling of carrots, celery, turnips, French beans, tofu and mushroom wrapped in what skin. Served with a homemade apple cider vinegar and sesame sauce
5️⃣Star Pumpkin Cracker RM17 Shimeji, pumpkin, potato, cabbage and green peppers sandwiched between fresh wheat skin and then pan-fried. Served with homemade sweet chilli sauce. 6️⃣Chayote Spring Rolls Chayote, carrots and shiitake wrapped in wheat skin, served with organic vegan mayonnaise
Parking was easy to find since it was a Saturday evening. Staff were very knowledgable and could tell us what were the interesting dishes we should try.
