TEMPEH MILK
Having loads of fun experimenting with the handcrafted, organic tempeh that presented to me from @angiesveganpantry.๐ After reading the Tempted by Tempeh book, I decided to try making tempeh milk, adapting the recipe to my taste. Hereโs what I did:
INGREDIENTS 100 gm organic/homemade tempeh 500ml filtered water 2 dates, pitted ยฝ vanilla pod Pinch organic salt
METHOD Blend all ingredients till smooth.
I used it and made it into a smoothie with bananas and pure noni juice (for recipe, refer to my Fun with Ferments eBook). There was a bit of bitterness to it and a strong tempeh taste but once used in the smoothie, the bitterness and tempeh taste disappeared.๐ถ
