Red leaf amaranth is somehow one of the rare veggies that I don’t like to eat raw coz it tastes weird to me but since I got it in my veggie box I decided to use it in my smoothie bowl instead.
Also added the sprouts into the smoothie as it’s a great way to “hide” the taste of the sprouts if you’re feeding it to someone who doesn’t like sprouts like Mr Jazz Guitarist. Hehe.
Here’s what I used for our smoothie bowl today:
1 cup pineapple tepache 1 cup red amaranth 1 cup wild blueberries ½ pink dragon fruit 1 red banana 1 teaspoon kale powder coz we hardly had any greens as we ate out
Toppings: 1 red banana, chopped + wild blueberries
