🌱IPOH VEGAN FOOD ADVENTURES with Raw Chef Yin - Vegan Delights, Ipoh🌱

This place was heavily recommended by many people and we didn’t manage to go here on our last stopover in Ipoh so we made a conscious decision to come here on the October 2022 trip.
(sorry this is a really delayed review as I just felt bad having to say I didn’t enjoy it too much, so I just delayed and delayed and delayed. More on our experience below…)

We had:
1. Fragrant Monkey Head Mushrooms with broccoli RM21.00
2. Vegan Nasi Lemak RM15.90
3. Rice RM2

Since it was a long weekend, the place was FULL!!

Glad we got the last table because after that people had to wait outside for their table.

But it also meant we were rushed to finish our food so that the people waiting could eat too.
The mushrooms didn’t really look like the photos in the menu. The taste was mediocre, unfortunately…

The vegan nasi lemak didn’t have much flavour. The sambal was bad 😞 We found it so disappointing.

It was very noisy since the place was full that day.

Overall, we didn’t have a good experience and I don’t think we want to go back. The menu seems to focus mainly on mock vegan meat and that’s not something I want to eat much.

I guess the only thing going for them is that everything on the menu is vegan.

It’s a pity though… so many people had good experiences here. Maybe it was an off day for them since the place was full and crowded.
