Time for more durians. After getting immersed in the international raw vegan community, I realised that I’m really lucky to be in Malaysia where we have some of the best durians in the world.
I used to only eat durians once or twice during the season but when I see how people in Europe have to sneak back Thai durians in their luggage, or the cost of how much durians are in the US, I’ve come to realise that I should really enjoy as much durians as possible.
So I asked Bao Sheng if they were delivering any more durians and they were!
Yippee 😋😋😋
Here’s what I got today: 1. Durian type: Horlor, Tree Age 40++ years (2 boxes) 2. Durian type: Kun Poh, Tree Age 40++ years 3. Durian type: D18, Tree Age 30++ years
I was a bit sad that there’s only 3 types of durian today instead of 4…and was hoping to be able to try some red prawn but no such luck.
I did however LOVE The D18!! It’s funny though, coz when I read about the D18, it doesn’t seem to be a popular durian.
Maybe coz I’ve already had the horlor and the kun poh for the previous deliveries.
