Trying out some recipes just in case I want to introduce them to my friends in the US. This is a cooked recipe!
I saw this one on IG by my friend Aisya and it looked good, so let’s see if I can make it in my Thermomix 🙂
Aisya’s recipe Vegan Chicken Curry RECIPE: 450-500g vegan chicken/protein of choice (I used tempeh) 2 onions 2 tomatoes 1 cinnamon 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp fennel seeds 3 cardamom pods 1 stalk curry leaves 1/2 tbsp garlic 1/2 tbsp ginger 1/2 tbsp coriander powder 2.5 tbsp curry powder 1/2 tbsp chilli powder 1 tbsp masala powder 2-3 medium potatoes 1 green chilli (I used 2 bird’s eye chilli) Water as needed 1 vegan bouillon Chopped coriander
METHOD Saute onions, add tomatoes, garlic, ginger and blend. Set aside. Saute cinnamon, cumin, fennel, cardamom curry leaves. Add blended ingredients in point 1 and coriander, curry, chili and masala powder and water and stir. Add green chili and potatoes. Add water and allow to cook. Add vegan bouillon and tempeh and cook. Garnish with coriander leaves.
