Flight to NYC was delayed coz just as we were about to take off, another airplane had to do an emergency landing at JFK next to us.
So we finally arrived at 1pm instead of 10.30am.
Headed to @abcvny as Chef Matteo of recommended it. I wanted to take the Restaurant Week Lunch and Mr Jazz Guitarist was super happy I let him have a burger but they said the Restaurant Week Lunch needed to be for the entire table so we just went ala carte.
We had: 1. whole roasted cauliflower, turmeric tahini, zaatar, pomegranate date molasses, red zhug, fresh herbs, pistachio US34 2. house cultured hemp seed burger, yuzukosho special sauce potato bun & accoutrements smoky fingerlings & lemon aioli or crunchy lettuces & champagne vinaigrette US28 abcV is a Michelin Guide restaurant, hence those prices. Worth it!! This is the only place that I’ve enjoyed a roasted cauliflower.
