🍕Vegan Food Adventures with Raw Chef Yin - Roots Bistro Bangsar 🌱

We first heard about Roots at the Green Fiesta and then at VegFest found out that they’ve just opened in Bangsar.

We visited them yesterday for lunch!

We had:
1. Mushrooms in Roots Kale Garden RM24
2. Crispy Radish Cake RM13
3. Shasuka with Sourdough “Naan” RM24 - request for vegan option, no egg
4. Malaysia sambal petai pizza 13inch RM52
5. Double Jackfruit Burger RM42
6. Sichuan Mala with Basmathi Rice (I didn’t want linguine…)
7. Laksa Sourdough Stew with Sourdough “Naan” RM21
8. Tepache RM16
9. Lychee Rose Kombucha RM16
10. Marrakesh Mint Tea RM12
11. Sorbet for dessert

Roots is a vegetarian restaurant with many vegan-friendly options. All vegan dishes are clearly marked. Vegetarian dishes that can be made vegan are also clearly marked.
They also have a dining space upstairs and 2 private dining rooms.
So happy there’s now more interesting vegetarian and vegan-friendly restaurants in KL!
