💚WE FOUND VEGAN KOLO MEE!!!💚 I had kolo mee in the late 1990s when I first came to Kuching for work. And tomato noodles. Loved it so much but it was hard to find kolo mee in KL in the 1990s. Now I’m vegan, the only time I’ve had it was at Suka Kafe in Ipoh. Last year we were trying to find vegan kolo mee in Kuching but since the noodle itself contains egg, we couldn’t eat any. This time I read on Google review that the Gandhara Vegetarian Restaurant at the Kuching Buddhist Society has vegan kolo mee and vegan laksa. Our friends Alex & BB very kindly took us there for lunch. We had: ✅Kolo Mee RM4 ✅Tomato Kueh Tiao RM6 ✅Claypot curry kueh tiao RM6 So affordable!! And yummmyyyy!! Their chap fan is RM5 for 3 dishes + 1 rice. They confirmed there’s no egg in the noodles and the curry only uses coconut milk, no dairy milk. Happy that Alex & BB also enjoyed their meals. We will be in Kuching for a week, comment below for recommendations on where else to eat! Gandhara Vegetarian Restaurant - Kuching Buddhist Society Q130B, Iris Garden, 93200 Kuching, Sarawak
