🌱Four Seasons Vegetarian in Kuching🌱 So grateful that Andy Teo took us out for a nice vegan meal yesterday!
We had: ✅Shacha Tofu Claypot Rice RM8.80 ✅Seaweed bibimbap (request no egg) RM8.80 ✅Kolo Lou Shu Fun RM5
The noodles have eggs, except for the rice noodles. For the rice dishes, you can request to omit the eggs.
If you’re vegan, remember to tell them no mayonnaise. Our Seaweed Bibimbap came out with mayonnaise on top even though we told them we’re vegan and we don’t eat eggs, so they kindly replaced with a new one without mayo. Yayyy and this version had tempeh in it. But bibimbap traditionally has gochujang sauce or some kind of Korean sauce…this one didn’t have. I wouldn’t call it bibimbap if that’s the case. Anyway, the taste was good. I like how the portions are quite satisfying.
Staff were courteous and friendly. We had Andy help translate for us since they spoke mainly Mandarin. I did try to speak in my broken Mandarin to request for more chilli 🌶️😆 Thank you Andy for the lunch treat. Was great catching up over lunch. For those who are interested, there’s a Comic-Con festival going on now (19 & 20 Oct) at CityOne mall so you can eat here and then visit the Comic-con, hehehe. The place is in a hidden corner, good thing we had Andy showing us where it is.
