🌱VEGAN FOOD ADVENTURES IN KUCHING - Life Cafe, Padungan🌱

In 2023, I asked CiciVegan for recommendations on where to eat in Kuching and she had suggested Life Cafe. We didn’t have time to go last year so this year decided to check it out.
This place serves meat but they do have a few pages of vegetarian options.
On HappyCow, some vegans also said they ate there so it looked like they have vegan-friendly options.

But I also did my due diligence and messaged Life Cafe on Instagram asking about the noodles and dumplings to make sure there’s no egg or dairy.

They assured me there’s no egg or dairy in their dumplings and noodles.

Then we also took an evening walk and again checked to make sure the vegetarian items on their vegetarian menu is vegan. They said there was one omelette dish which we should avoid but the rest are all egg and dairy-free. Yay!!

We had:
1. 1019 Veg Ginseng Chicken Soup - doesn’t come with rice RM19.90
2. 1025 Spicy Vegetarian Dumpling RM17.90
3. 1005 Life’s Veg Meat Sacha Mushroom Noodle - vermicelli noodles RM13.90
4. Rice RM2.80

Actually, the vermicelli is not rice noodles. It’s made from sweet potato, which I love.
This was pretty good. It does feel like a chain restaurant though since everything was very efficient. We ordered via the QR code which made it a bit troublesome.
