VEGAN FOOD ADVENTURES - Mala Mini Hotpot, MidValley MegaMall

We were running errands at MidValley MegaMall and we ran overtime as we kept bumping into friends and couldn’t arrive home on time for lunch. Decided to eat lunch at the mall instead. Was deciding between Vietnamese, Purple Cane or BMS Organics.

Then on the way to BMS Organics, we spotted this Mala Mini Hotpot and asked if they could make it vegan.

They said they have vegetarian options for the following:
Tom Yum Soup Base
Tomato Soup Base
But the Mala Soup base wasn’t vegetarian…
Actually I wanted the dry pot and they said that is vegetarian and we should just avoid the noodles that have eggs. You can choose your own veggies and mushrooms.

We had:
1 Mala Dry Pot
1x Normal Spicy
1 x Sweet Potato Noodles
1 x Broccoli
1x Nai Pak
1x shitake Mushroom

1x Flat Mushroom - this one is battered, I didn’t realise it would be battered, so I wouldn’t have that next time

Total: RM45.25 with 10% + 6%

It was delicious! I liked the first dry pot better as it has green veggies. The second one was a bit on the oily side for me. Would definitely go back and have it again if I’m at MidValley.
