🌱Vegan Food Adventures - Lankan Cafe 🌱
Last year we had Sri Lankan lamprais at the Lankan at Seventeen in Section 17 but their lamprais wasn’t wrapped in banana leaf so this year we decided go to back Lankan Cafe in Section 5.
This restaurant serves meat but their vegetarian options are clearly listed. For vegans, you have to request and make it clear you don’t want eggs or dairy (no ghee, yoghurt, milk, butter, curd, etc)
Also, now KindMeal.my has a meal deal where you can get 10% off using their coupon here:
https://www.kindmeal.my/LankanCafe/deal-751.htmHere’s what we had:
1. Vegetarian Lamprais (requested for it to be veganised so no egg/dairy.) RM25.00
2. Paal Appam RM4
3. Pol Roti RM6
4. Rasam RM6
I think this is the 5th time I’m having their Lamprais. We had it 3 times in 2023 and once in 2024. The ones we had previously was much better. This time it didn’t seem like it was steamed long enough.
A bit on the oily side although the food was very tasty.
I liked the Pol Roti and Rasam too. Appam was nice as well.
