Join the screening, Q&A and panel discussion on the ground-breaking Nonhuman Rights movement with Steven M. Wise, founder and President of the New York-based Nonhuman Rights Project.
'UNLOCKING THE CAGE' is a documentary following the Nonhuman Rights Project's unprecedented legal challenges to gain certain personhood rights for nonhuman animals. Afterwards there will be a Q&A and panel discussion with Steven and several other local lawyers and activists. A 20-minute clip from the 90-minute documentary will be shown.

About Steve Wise: Steven M. Wise is an American legal scholar who specializes in animal protection issues, primatology, and animal intelligence.
