Dawn of the Selfie of the Apes

You hand your camera to a crested black macaque for a moment, and she snaps a selfie with it. Who owns the copyright for that photo?

That very question may be debated in court in the near future, but this much is obvious: Our fellow primates are exceedingly intelligent.

Although tinkering with ISO or shutter delay settings were probably beyond her, this monkey clearly grasped the concept of point-and-shoot. (And frankly, that's about all many of us humans can master!)
