MAINE RESIDENTS: Take action to help hens raised for eggs! The Maine Legislative Council will decide TOMORROW at 10am EST whether it will allow a bill to be introduced that would eliminate cages for hens in your state (LR 2897). If passed, this bill will allow hens to engage in more natural behaviors, such as spreading their wings, perching, and walking around.
