The Animal Legal Defense Fund is leading a coalition of orgs (including Animal Outlook) that has filed an emergency petition with the USDA seeking to prevent farms from using COVID-19 relief funds for mass "depopulation" through ventilation shutdown or suffocation via water-based foam.
