At wet markets in southern China, dogs and cats are still kept in cages and often slaughtered on the spot for meat - a practice banned in some Chinese cities but unfortunately still widespread in others.
We must end this immense cruelty once and for all. Our request to the Chinese government is simple: ban the trade and consumption of dog and cat meat!
