Animal Equality’s Work In China
Animal Equality works to end the exploitation and killing of any animal raised for food, and dogs and cats are no exception. With the help of local animal advocates in China, we've been documenting the cruel dog and cat meat trade since 2012.
Our investigations have resulted in the closure of a dog slaughterhouse and 33 dog and cat meat dealers! But there's still work to be done—dogs and cats are still being stolen from their homes, caged, and bludgeoned for meat.
